It's raining and miserable here in NYC today. In honor of that, I'm posting a couple songs from one of my favorite bands, the Pernice Brothers. Some people complained to me that they sound "too country," but I don't see that. They're excellent singer/songwriters, in the indie-pop tradition. Anyway, enjoy Weakest Shade of Blue and Bright Side.
This track, Love Comes Rushing, has been sounding great to me lately. I found it on a recent Tall Paul mix. The singer will be at Crobar this Sat night. Sounds like a place to be.
